B56-517. LOT OF THREE DOUBLE-ENDED WRENCHES. Baxter Patent. Unmarked as many are but clearly examples of William Baxter's 1868 patent, comprised of two sliding plates so that tightening the central screw simultaneously closes the jaws on either end. One 11", like new, the other two are 8" with some pitting but still work smoothly. From the collection of Cecil Holmes.
