B56-640. PUMP DRILL. 18-1/2" long, rosewood. According to the consignor's tag, the head is "jichimu" or chicken wing wood, it was used in the repair of broken pottery and was collected in a Beijing flea market in 1988. Comes with a 38-1/2" bow, also rosewood with cork end, not sure if it originally went with the pump drill. From the Don Rosebrook collection.
