Most of the planes that feature William Steers' patented soles with inlaid rosewood strips were manufactured by Brattleboro Tool Co. and also featured his patented cutter adjustment. However, in the 1890s Jennings briefly produced a full line of planes with Steers type soles but Bailey pattern frogs and cutter adjustments, which are far less common than the Brattleboro planes. See PTAMPIA II, pages 144-45. This one has a Stanley cutter, and very good rosewood strips, but there's a 1/2" chip in the right cheek.
