B58-628 BREAST DRILL. McClellan Patent. Stephen McClellan, originally of San Marcos, TX, and subsequently of New York, is known for his corner braces covered by four patents, but he also patented this breast drill with a handle that can be moved to different positions for corner work, and two protruding ears used to anchor a chain. Far rarer than the corner braces, this one is in good shape noting a large chip from the handle and overall surface oxidation. The handle is stamped "McClellan Sound Beach CT" which is a mark we haven't seen. Good+ 100-200
