B59-353 KNOWLES-TYPE JACK PLANE. Unsigned and no way to say who made it, but clearly old. Cast iron body with 14-1/2" sole and decorative profile, beech wedge and closed tote, 2" Humphreyville iron bedded at a low angle. There's a tight check in the knob, a couple of holes ahead of the throat that look like another piece is missing, but it looks complete. A very attractive example of a craftsman made early metal plane. Good+ 200-400
