B59-399 IVORY TIPPED PLOW PLANE. Casey, Kitchel & Co. Rosewood throughout with four turned ivory tips, intact with minor checking, the inner nuts and shoulder have some wear and are lighter, almost as if they were stained, but the grain looks right. D mark. Barton was primarily an edge tool maker and a lot of planes marked by Barton were actually made by someone else, but they did make some planes and this is one of them. Wood very clean, noting the wear on the inner nuts, only a couple of small thread chips. Good+ 500-1000
