B59-406 SCREW-ARM PLOW PLANE. German Patent. Typical European style plow with the internal nuts on the fence, but it also has a very elaborate cutter holding and adjusting mechanism, which is marked "D.R.G.M No. 147505." DRGM stands for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster (German Reich Registered Design) and it appears that this particular design was patented in 1901 and marketed by Esslinger & Abt of Laupheim, Germany. Some mild wear to the wood but the cutter holding mechanism is nice and clean. Very unusual. From the collection of John Sindelar. Good+ 200-400
