B59-412 DEMONSTRATING SAW. Atkins No. 65. A 26" saw with the early form of Atkins' "Perfection" handle with the floral design. The unusual feature is that different parts of the blade have different grinds. The reverse of the blade describes it as a "demonstrating" saw and lists the various types of grind and set. The blade is very clean with good etches on both sides. Handle is near fine, with good medallion and four screws, two of them locked with wingnuts, except that some barbarian drilled a hanghole in it. From the collection of John Sindelar. Fine 100-200
