B59-526 RAPID ADJUSTING WRENCH. King Patent. Patented 6/24/90 by Erasmus King of Lee's Summit, MO, and manufactured by King & Hough. Unmarked but clearly corresponds to the patent drawing, except that the patent shows a double headed nut and pipe wrench and the handful of known examples are just nut wrenches. Schulz No. 498. Spring-loaded sliding lower jaw locked by a lever just above the wooden handle in the rear. 10-1/2" long, works smoothly, jaws very slightly sprung. A very rare wrench. From the collection of Cecil Holmes. Good+ 150-300
