B59-568 INCLINOMETER. Toledo Indicating Level Co. There are a few of these things around, but they're rare, and nobody has found a patent for it. According to contemporary ads it had "fiery" red liquid in 3" circular inclinometer compartment, but they are always found dry as this one is. If you ever seen one with fluid in it it's probably a modern replacement. This is otherwise a nice clean example, 24" long with a single plumb vial mounted next to the circular vial and brass end caps. A copy of an ad from the 1915 American Carpenter and Builder is included. From the collection of Don Rosebrook. Good+ 200-400
