According to contemporary ads it had "fiery" red liquid in 3" circular inclinometer compartment, but they are always found dry as this one is. If you ever seen one with fluid in it it's probably a modern replacement. This is otherwise a nice clean example, 24" long with a single plumb vial mounted next to the circular vial and brass end caps.
