B67-236 BOX SCRAPER. Bailey Tool Co. Defiance. Long version of the patented box scraper manufactured by Selden Bailey, based on Joseph Bailey's 1870 patent for the cam-action locking mechanism, shown in figure 64a of PTAMPIA I. 8" handle with the patent date stamped in the brass ferrule. Japanning about 50%, unmarked cutter clean and sharp. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 100-200
