B67-308 SET OF RIGHT AND LEFT HANDED GOOSEWING AXES. William Addam. Matched set of Pennsylvania goosewings. Each has 15" blade and W. Addam name surrounded by four starburst marks. Each has an original 10-1/2" offset handle; the one on the left-handed axe is loose from the head and has some inactive worm and a tight check. Metal is very clean, oxidized but no corrosion. Addam is listed as an axe maker in the EAIA directory without working dates but these are clearly early. From the collection of John Henson. Fine 500-1000
