Metal has overall oxidation and a few patches of surface rust but overall clean. It is identified in PTAMPIA I, Figure 164, as an example of Isaac Reeder's 8/2/1881 patented "one hand" plane, but with longer sole and fixed tote in place of the swiveling handle shown in the patent drawings.
