B67-394 MOLDING PLANE. I. Iones. 1/2" round, 10" long, narrow flat chamfers, relieved wedge, A1 mark. Wood has a tight check running back from the toe and some small stains. Jethro Jones was an early black planemaker and associate of the better known Cesar Chelor, active in the 1750s and 1760s and subsequently a veteran of the Continental Army. Good 350-700
