B67-625 "COME AND GO" DOUBLE MATCH PLANE. Marked "G.A. Sanborn," which isn't in AWP and is probably the user/maker. 11-1/2" long with closed totes, cuts a 1/4" tongue and groove. Wood is very clean with a couple of small stains but no damage, iron has some light surface rust. The tongue cutter appears to have been made out of a plow cutter, with the central section removed, but the edge is flattened so it doesn't function. It doesn't look like wear but like it was done deliberately. Why? Your guess is as good as ours. From the collection of Steve Dice. Good 60-120
