B67-668 MODERN MAKER. Shepherd Tool Co. Infill Panel Plane. Cast steel body with 13-1/2" sole, rosewood infill, closed tote, 2-1/2" iron. Marked with Shepherd's griffin mark on the iron and with engraved "Shepherd" signature on brass lever cap. Shepherd made planes and kits in Ontario and shut down in 2006 to the loss of lovers of fine tools everywhere. From the collection of Bill Webber. Fine 300-600
