B68-178 MINIATURE BLOCK PLANE. 4" sole, 1-1/8" cutter marked "H.B & Son, Prolific, Sheffield," which stands for Henry Bernascone & Son. Resembles a Stanley No. 101 but larger, lever cap has open hole in center and flat-head locking screw, held with pin through cheeks. Cast thumb rest, japanning 95%. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 50-100
