B68-504 COOPER'S CROZE. Used by coopers to cut the groove into which the cask head fits. Cast iron, which is unusual; most were wood. Unmarked, 14" across, uses a triangular cutter to make the groove. Well made, metal clean. From the John Lervoog collection of cooperage tools. Good+ 50-100
