B59-275 MANTEL CLOCK INCLINOMETER. Davis Level & Tool. The least common version of Davis' iconic mantel clock design, without the locking screw. Don Rosebrook has speculated that Davis hoped to simplify the production by eliminating the locking screw, but the experiment was not a success and very few are found. This version never had gold highlighting, japanning 95%, very clean working dial and pointer. Fine 200-400
