B59-639 BRACE. H.S. Shepardson. Shepardson, of Shelburne Fall, MA, was a manufacturer of braces and had a number of patents, but this is his only brace patent, granted 3/1/70. It provided for a set of curved sliding jaws tightened by the chuck shell. Relatively uncommon, it is rated B for rarity by Ron Pearson. Clearly marked, 7" sweep, wooden head and grip.
