Extremely rare T-bevel with two scratch gauges, one extending from the bottom of the handle and one from the side. 8" blade and 5-1/2" mahogany handle, marked "Blomberg & Grundy, Pat Apld, Chicago, Ill." These gauges are described on page 156 of Milt Bacheller's American Marking Gauges, but Milt was unable to find any information on the manufacturers or the patent (if any). Unlike the one illustrated in Milt's book, this one has knurled circular locking screws for the blade and the scratch gauges. Clean and works well, but the mark is faint and barely legible.
