B67-607 UNHANDLED SCREW ARM PLOW PLANE. Donaldson/Hall. Solid rosewood throughout, some damage to the outer end of the front arm and wedge, a tight check in the front shoulder and a chip from the leading edge of the fence, but wood otherwise very clean. James Donaldson and John Hall were partners in a hardware business, originally in Ohio and subsequently in St. Louis; their mark is unusual in that "Donaldson" and "Hall" are separate stamps in different fonts with no indication that they were partners. This is either the C or D mark, it's hard to tell because the "J. Hall" is overstamped on an earlier mark, presumably the actual maker, of which only "N. York" is legible. Good+ 150-300
