B68-345 BLOCK PLANE. Chaplin's Improved Patent. Uncommon version with 7" sole, corrugated on bed only, no tote, non-adjustable throat, wooden knob. Replacement A.C. Bartlett cutter. Stamped "Chaplin's Improved" with four patent dates on left cheek. Metal oxidized and nickel worn off lever cap with small nick on base of lever cap, but no rust or pitting. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good 200-400
